Adult Program

This program is delivered by Sacramento Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP) educators in schools and community-based organizations using the University-approved curriculum called Eating Smart • Being Active (ESBA). ESBA is a research-based curriculum based on the 2020-2025 Dietary Guidelines and is designed to assist limited-resource families with young children in making healthy lifestyle choices for themselves and for their families.

  • Bilingual materials (by request) 

Who Can Participate?

Our services are offered at no cost to schools, organizations, and programs whose participants are eligible to receive food assistance programs such as WIC, Cal Fresh, Head Start, Child Nutrition, SNAP (food stamps), TANF (CalWorks), TEFAP, etc.
